Artist's Description

In the early sixties, my brother and I took a trip to Mexico in an old beat up convertible. Us gringos drank Dos Xes beer instead of the water, saving us from Montezuma s revenge. Later, in 1964 I painted this reminder of the countryside between the small shack towns. I painted Pecos Galley in oils with a palette knife. It still hangs in our Western room.
